Born and raised in Western Canada, Steve Mitchell has hosted over 30 performances at Nashville’s renowned Bluebird Cafe. Known for his charismatic stage presence, he creates a full, dynamic sound as a solo performer using guitar, ukulele, harmonica, and live looping. His set features favourites from artists like Willie Nelson, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, and John Prine. A seasoned songwriter, Steve has written charting songs with Canadian and U.S. artists and recently toured with In Spite of Ourselves: A Celebration of the Music of John Prine.
