We explore asking for help, the small gestures that make a difference, and how she continues to carry their relationship into her life today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">We also discuss growing older in the Comox Valley, from maintaining a home and navigating support services to staying connected as circumstances change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Marion moved to Courtenay in 1977. A former teacher, mother, and keen gardener, she brings a personal perspective on how our needs and priorities change over a lifetime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">In 2020, Peter was diagnosed with multiple myeloma and died just weeks later, shortly after their 55th wedding anniversary.
